When to Sign Up
First, he answers the question, “when should I start shopping for Medicare?” And the answer is around three months before you turn 65.
You do have a total of seven months to settle on a Medicare Advantage plan. Those months being the three months before your 65th birthday, the month of your birthday, and the three months after your 65th birthday. If you miss this window of time, insurance providers will usually add extra fees to your monthly charges.
Costs of Advantage Plans
Next, he addresses the costs associated with plans outside of Original Medicare and why they’re necessary.
He explains that when you call Buffalo Health Advisors we can help you find plans with no premiums, as well as plans that can even pay back some of your Part B premiums.
